A one-day course specially intended for new engineers, practicing engineers, engineers of other fields, administrative and management personnel to acquire up-to-date knowledge on current welding and joining technology and practices.

This course is designed to train new entrants in the best practices of welding inspection and quality control. Participants will be exposed to different aspects of industrial welding technology and fabrication. This comprehensive 3-months training will equip participant with the understanding of safety, weld inspection, reporting, joint design, welding processes, welding metallurgy and materials behaviors during welding production and lays a foundation leading towards Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Profession. Theoretical and practical aspects of inspection techniques such as visual inspection test (VT), weld measurements, MPI, DPI, UT and RT will be part of the training by qualified welding personnel.

This brochure serves as a guide for obtaining the WELDING INSPECTOR Certification through a structured program over 15 months. The Certified Welding Inspector certification is recognized by the Malaysian Oil & Gas Industry, Marine Industry and Power Industry.
